一、定冠词

二、不定冠词
不定冠词由a和an组成，前面修饰名词时，表示泛指的某个人或某件事物，表示某类人或某类事物的一个个体，或者某类人或某类事物中的任意一个。
1. 当表示某一个人或某一件事物时，a和an可以互换使用，如：
I met a young doctor in the hospital.（我在医院里遇到一位年轻医生）
Can you give me an apple?（你给我一个苹果好吗？）
2. 当表示某类人或某类事物中的任意一个时，要用a，如：
A soldier should be brave.（士兵应该勇敢）
A good teacher should be patient.（好老师应该有耐心）
