county的用法讲解
county，中文意思为县，它属于名词，是一级行政区的名字。它特指英国及许多美国的行政区划，例如英格兰的county，意思为郡，美国的county，意思为区（也有郡之分）。
county在英式英语中会与borough，city，district一起使用，用来表达不同程度的地方行政管理区域。例如，其中英国更细分地区还可以用county，市，区，村来表示，而在美式英语中则可以用county，city，state，town来表示。
比如我们说：I'm from France. 我来自法国。这里，我们并没有用county来表示法国的地区，而是用country来表示国家的意思，而country 和 county 这2个词其实是有区别的，country 和 nation 是指政治上的国家，而 county 则是指地理上的行政区域，比如某一个州内的一个特定区域。
因此，我们在使用county时，要特别小心，避免用错，相比country，它指的是细小的区域，比如州，乡等等。
