英语单词enquire的用法讲解
enquire有两个含义：1.询问，质问；2.查问。
它的用法主要有：
1. enquire + o + to do sth.
例如：
My father asked me to enquire who left the book here.
我爸爸叫我询问谁把这本书留在这里。
2. enquire + about/of/into + n./v.-ing
例如：
The police are enquiring about the accident.
警方正在调查这次事故。
3. enquire + for + n./pron.
例如：
She enquired for the manager.
她在找经理。
4. enquire + if/whether + clause
例如：
He enquired if there was any news.
他询问是否有什么新闻。
另外，enquire也可以用作及物动词，直接接宾语，意思是询问某人某事。
