英语单词drop off有两个意思：第一，把某物放下，如“She dropped off the letter at the post office.”（她把那封信送到邮局去了）；第二，减弱，衰弱，如“Attendance dropped off after the first two weeks.”（前两周之后参加人数减少了。）
